Shaky Beginning

I’ve been planning this podcast for several years, though I haven’t made any action toward completing it until recently.

This week I started a a class on creating a podcast, because I want to make progress on this goal. The course is only four sessions long, and I learned that on the third session we’ll have to make a trailer for our potential podcast. Last night I buckled down, watched a couple tutorials on Audacity, and knocked out the intro segment, music and everything, that I’ll use for each episode.

There’s still a lot of work and research to do, but I’ve gotten started and soon you’ll have something to hear. Wish me luck.

    I’m ready to listen to this. I’ve been ready since the moment we first discussed this, years ago. It sounds so promising! I’m very excited about this project of yours and I can’t wait to hear 20 minutes of whatever the heck you wanna talk about.
    What did you use to write the music? A program or actual instruments?

      Actual instruments: this is the chorus from “Possession,” the only Size song I’ve ever written. I think it’s suitable for the tone I want to strike with this podcast. I have a lot of reading/listening to do to absorb all the information I need, and I want to complete three episodes before I release anything, but I’m closer to completion than I’ve ever been.

        Well, then I’ll be very patient and wait. My expectations when I start listening to a podcast is that there’s some fitting music that begins to point the senses in the right direction and sets the tone for what will be discussed. “Possession” seems perfect for the job.

        This feels like such a momentous event in the history of size things that the lack of hoopla seems extremely inadequate… but I’m always assigning notoriety merit when there are only a handful of people reading certain things.

        “Work” and “research” reveal that you’ll produce and release podcasts that will be educational, informative, and possibly even promulgating. In any case, I know I’ll enjoy them.
