A lovely, gigantic woman with big round hips and a tight skirt walks down a city street, dwarfing cars and buildings around her.

008: To Foot or Not to Foot

Any exploration into Size Fantasy must necessarily involve an episode with tiny people negotiating big feet. Aborigen talks about the foot fetish and how it works with macrophilia. Aside from that, Starkadh outlines his earliest tiny-person memories.

  1. As someone who is at best indifferent to any often annoyed by foot content, I was raptly engaged by this episode. Your exploration of the sensory and emotional appeal of giant feet was vivid enough for me to recognize the sizey kinship. I think the neurochemical importance of apocrine glands helps explain why foot fetishism in general is common but is somewhat distinct from the fascination with sizey feet. In any event, it’s not my journey.

    1. I wanted to stay away from the stereotypes of (and personal experiences with) foot fetishists and focus on the appeal and experience of this domain, just trying to make it relatable as you said. Trying not to make anyone feel bad.

  2. “No podcast with one host is ever going to be good.”

    “Ahem.”

I didn’t quite laugh out loud at this, but I came close. Hopefully Bell said this with tongue firmly in cheek.

I had no idea that the same type of glands found in the armpits seem to be heavily concentrated around the breasts and genitals. I haven’t found a whole lot of armpit-focused stuff in Size Fantasy, but I’ve definitely seen some, and this could help explain a few things, though it sounds like a connection between apocrine glands and sexual stimulation hasn’t been formally established yet.

I’m not particularly “into” feet, of any size, but like Olo, I greatly enjoyed this episode, and I think it’s a testament to the good work you’re doing here that we’re entertained even when the specific aspect of Size Fantasy being discussed is “not my thing.”
